Meditation on Psalm 119:49-56 Zayin

Psa 119:49 Zayin. Remember the word to Your servant, In which You have made me hope.

Psa 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me.

Psa 119:51 The arrogant utterly deride me, Yet I do not turn aside from Your law.

Psa 119:52 I have remembered Your ordinances from of old, O LORD, And comfort myself.

Psa 119:53 Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked, Who forsake Your law.

Psa 119:54 Your statutes are my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.

Psa 119:55 O LORD, I remember Your name in the night, And keep Your law.

Psa 119:56 This has become mine, That I observe Your precepts.

Great and faithful heavenly Father, maker of heaven and earth; redeemer of YOUR people, do not forget all YOU have revealed to me and in which I have placed my trust and anticipation of joy. Lord have mercy. During the days of my greatest struggles, most massive losses, and deepest pain; my comfort is the WORD YOU have given and it gives me new faith, love, and hope. The dark lord speaks to me lies and doubts, yet by YOUR grace I have not turned aside from YOUR revelation and truth. Keep me from the temptations and lies of the enemy that surround me daily. YOUR ancient written WORD brings me comfort and encouragement as I remember it. How long OH LORD, will those who oppress and bring terror be allowed to continue. Convert the radical terrorists or cripple their abilities to do harm. Remember the cries of their victims. Answer our cry for justice or redemption. We need YOU, great KING, to act now. The song of my soul is YOUR revelation to my spirit. Renew my mind. Give me YOUR eyes to see and YOUR ears to hear. Make my heat sensitive to YOU. Great Redeeming Creator, I strive to remember YOUR authority and rule over me day and night and guard YOUR revelation of truth in the core of my soul. Help me to have a lifestyle that observes YOUR love in every aspect of my life. Lord have mercy upon me in YOUR perfect sacrifice for me on the cross. Messiah have mercy. Amen
