Psalm 119 Meditation on Aleph

Psa 119:1 Aleph. How blessed are those whose way is blameless, Who walk in the law of the LORD. Psa 119:2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart. Psa 119:3 They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways. Psa 119:4 You have ordained Your precepts, That we should keep them diligently. Psa 119:5 Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes! Psa 119:6 Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Your commandments. Psa 119:7 I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments. Psa 119:8 I shall keep Your statutes; Do not forsake me utterly! Lord, bless me with the grace to make my way of life one of faith in YOUR revelation. Give me the wisdom and power to develop a lifestyle not based on my own wisdom but on YOUR wisdom from above. Have favor on me and allow me to strive to follow YOUR word. Let me desire to seek YOU with passion and purpose. YOU have given YOUR people YOUR revelation that we will accept them as the rule of our lives. As I strive to believe, love, and follow YOUR commandments and trust in YOUR promises, I will not be ashamed. Lord grant me the grace needed to believe, love and follow YOUR revelation. Please let me be stable in creating a lifestyle that is based on YOUR will and ways. I thank YOU LORD for providing revealed truth to me. Help me to lean YOUR righteous ways and deeds. LORD, without YOU I can do nothing. Do not leave me to my own insights and abilities or I am lost. I desire to treasure your teachings in my heart, mind, and daily life. Help this desire to grow and become the controlling passion of my life. Amen
