Meditation on Psalm 119:81-88 Kaph

Psa 119:81 Kaph. My soul languishes for Your salvation; I wait for Your word.
Psa 119:82 My eyes fail with longing for Your word, While I say, "When will You comfort me?"
Psa 119:83 Though I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.
Psa 119:84 How many are the days of Your servant? When will You execute judgment on those who persecute me?
Psa 119:85 The arrogant have dug pits for me, Men who are not in accord with Your law.
Psa 119:86 All Your commandments are faithful; They have persecuted me with a lie; help me!
Psa 119:87 They almost destroyed me on earth, But as for me, I did not forsake Your precepts.
Psa 119:88 Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.

LORD of salvation, deliverance and hope. I yearn to see YOUR hand act to save me from the dangers that now surround me. I trust in YOUR promises. I will by YOUR grace trust YOU in the dark.

My eyes grow tired and weary as I seek to hear YOU speak a WORD of comfort and hope to me. LORD, give me assurance of YOUR favor.

I have experienced distress, discomfort, and sorrow, but continue to remind myself of YOUR truth and revelation.

I desire to see the defeat of the darkness and chaos that follow me before I die. I hunger to see YOUR mighty hand save here and now! Your will be done!

The dark lord who desires to kill, steal, and destroy has placed many traps in my path and there have been lies told to harm me.

Without YOUR help I would have been destroyed. Thank YOU for YOUR help. Allow me to stay true to YOUR TRUTH.

Revive my faith, hope, and love this day. According to YOUR great compassion now bring to me new life. Do this for YOUR glory and my good. Amen
