Meditation on Psa 55:17-19

[Psa 55:17-19 NLT] 17 Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the LORD hears my voice. 18 He ransoms me and keeps me safe from the battle waged against me, though many still oppose me. 19 God, who has ruled forever, will hear me and humble them. ……

1st Reading: What is one word or phrase the Holy Spirit impresses on you? Meditate on that.

2nd Reading: Enter into the Scripture passage. What do you feel? What specific situation in your life today relates? Write down a prayer or pray quietly.

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

God ruled forever

2nd Reading: Enter into the Scripture passage. What do you feel? What specific situation in your life today relates? Write down a prayer or pray quietly.

LORD, God of all creation, YOU who have ransomed me with YOUR blood, YOU have heard my cry and removed some of my distress! YOUR love endures forever! Help me feel safe in the midst of the battle. Teach me how to wage YOUR wars. This is YOUR battle. Defeat the dark lord and demons in my life for YOUR glory and my good. Let YOUR light defeat the darkness. YOU hear me, now act in great power. Save us.

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

I will keep you safe.
