Meditation on Lam 3:57-58

[Lam 3:57-58 NASB] 57 You drew near when I called on You; You said, "Do not fear!" 58 O Lord, You have pleaded my soul's cause; You have redeemed my life.

1st Reading: What is one word or phrase the Holy Spirit impresses on you? Meditate on that.

2nd Reading: Enter into the Scripture passage. What do you feel? What specific situation in your life today relates? Write down a prayer or pray quietly.

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

Who have I in heaven but YOU? Great High Priest Messiah Jesus, have mercy on me and plead my cause and redeem my life. Protect my family, my ministry, and my life from the one that wants to kill, steal and destroy. YOU are my only hope. I am afraid, help me to let YOUR voice comfort me with assurances to not fear for YOU are with me and for me. You are my Redeemer. YOU have drawn near to me. Save me now! Save us now! I cry out to YOU to cry out for all that is in danger! I have no hope but YOU. Thank YOU for pleading my cause. Thank YOU for redeeming my life. In YOUR promises I will find peace. Amen

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

Draw near to me in time of need and I will give YOU grace and mercy
