Meditation on John 3:16-21, 35-36

[Jhn 3:16-21, 35-36 NASB] 16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 "For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 "But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God." ... 35 "The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. 36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

1st Reading: What is one word or phrase the Holy Spirit impresses on you? Meditate on that.

2nd Reading: Enter into the Scripture passage. What do you feel? What specific situation in your life today relates? Write down a prayer or pray quietly.

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

LORD Jesus, Savior, Teacher, Master, King, Prophet, Sacrifice, and High Priest; I believe, help my unbelief. Let me not love the darkness but become a lover of the light. Help me see that the darkness only leads to death. Help me see that there is no risk in obedience to YOU. Save me from the lies that I believe are true that are in my heart. Allow YOUR truth which is YOU become the TRUTH to my soul. Overcome the darkness in me and let YOUR light rule. Lord have mercy, save me from myself. Amen

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God

I love YOU, trust me, trust my love, trust that I want to save you. Trust the light. Trust!
