Meditation on Isaiah 43:1

32) “But now, this is what the LORD says – he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine’” (Isaiah 43:1).

1st Reading: What is one word or phrase the Holy Spirit impresses on you? Meditate on that.

2nd Reading: Enter into the Scripture passage. What do you feel? What specific situation in your life today relates? Write down a prayer or pray quietly.

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

You are mine!

LORD, Creator and Redeemer; good, great, and merciful King and Savior, Help me not fear today and remind me of the great effort YOU have gone, to purchase me out of death, darkness, and despair. YOU have purchased my life so that I might have life. Help me hear YOUR loving voice as louder than all the noise of circumstances that make me afraid. Watch over me today. Amen

3rd Reading: What is God's personal invitation for you from the Scripture? You can write down what God may be saying to you or a prayer of thanks. Or rest quietly in God.

Fear not!
